The NYC Usability Professional¹s Association, in concert with the Interaction Designers' Association (IxDA) and the School of Visual Arts is holding an annual event called "World Usability Day" to celebrate usable products and experiences.

Debera Johnson, Academic Director of Sustainability at Pratt Institute, will be moderating a panel at this event. The panelists are members of the Design Incubator: Samuel Cochran (SMIT), Kevin McElroy (Cerca), and Diane Ruengsorn (Domestic Aesthetic).

The theme is sustainability, and they are presenting examples of products and experiences that are usable —perhaps more so than their less sustainable counterparts— and which also protect the environment.
