During the 2018-2019 academic year, theSustainability Committee (SC) and the Departmental Sustainability Coordinators (DSC) met regularly to complete Pratt’s first AASHE STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System) report. STARS is a voluntary, self-reporting framework for helping colleges and universities track and measure their sustainability progress. In addition to using STARS to help with internal sustainability benchmarking, the information was also used for our Princeton Review Green College Guide score where we achieved a 93/99 (highest score of any AICAD school).
Since submitting the initial report for the 2017-2018 timeframe last spring, CSDS has worked to condense and package the information into a shareable version of our submission. Below is a link to the entire PDF of this report.
The DSC and the SC submitted the data for the 2018-2019 year on March 6, 2020. Once our submission is reviewed by AASHE, we will share that report as well. We see this process as a key piece in creating  a framework for understanding sustainability in all sectors of Pratt, enabling meaningful comparisons over time, while building a stronger, more diverse campus sustainability community.
