Kyung Cha is an interior design student in Deborah Schneiderman’s Graduate Thesis class.
Our society is in the midst of a paradigm shift in which environmental and economic criteria are being reappraised. Issues such as climate protection and conservation of resources have resulted in a change in the image of our built environment. Interior design, however tends to have shorter life span than other types of built environment. This thesis seeks the holistic design solution of long-term sustainable and highly adaptable interior space which reconcile environmental demands and the fashionable nature of interior design.
