FASHION DESIGN GREEN WEEK EXHIBIT
2013 Green Week Exhibition | “Deconstruct/ Reconstruct”
“The goal of this assignment was to experience the creation of new 3-Dimensioanl possibilities through the deconstruction and reconstruction of a single vintage garment. The intent of the process was not to repurpose the original pieces, but rather to creatively inform the students through the discovery of new and interesting positive/ negative spaces and the limitless possibilities of though-provoking shapes.”
As part of Green Week the 2nd fl. Steuben display cases will showcase examples of sustainable fashion by the undergrad fashion students. Work by select students of FASD 208, Fashion Design Sophomore Class. Professors: Van Lupu and Kelly Horrigan. Exhibition Curated by Professor Rachel Miller.
